Monday fine north wind.  I should think that Coit has got to Boston but I was so disappointed before about him that I cant think were he is now.  I went to Georges to settle with C Emery.  Cold weather.

Sabath fine and pleasant.  I went to hear Mr Richards in afternoon in new school house.  We hear Coit is got no further than Portland.

Governor Strongs thanksgiving.  We cut up our cow and salted the Beff.

About this Blog

Joseph and son, Henry, Ingraham kept diaries, 1795-1875. Joseph was an early settler in Rockland, Maine, arriving from Cape Ann by 1779 and settling on 200 acres bordering on Rockland harbor.
